nhow Rotterdam makes its first mark
An unusual recruitment approach for an unconventional hotel
OPENING: JANUARY 10TH
nhow Rotterdam will open on January 10th and is hiring bar/hotel staff. Not your ordinary bell boy or bar tender. The best and most remarkable crew, who are more than capable of pouring a cup of coffee, but who also have something personal to convey about the city and its vibe as well. Unfortunately this recruitment target group is not the kind you find crawling job boards. Most of these people already have jobs!
THREE LOCAL SCOUTS RECRUITED OVER 140 PEOPLE
That's why nhow Rotterdam needed a fresh and local approach that suits the Rotterdam mindset. The past few weeks three locally selected scouts set out throughout the city to find the best people. Locals who are fit to become part of the pioneering nhow Rotterdam crew from December onwards. These aren't your usual recruiters, but three authentic locals, each of them with their own access to relevant subcultures. They recruited over 140 people with the right attitude for the first event in nhow Rotterdam ever: Pioneer Fest.
PIONEER FEST
On November 18th, these recruits and their +1's gathered in the yet-to be finalised hotel to first meet the management, recruiters and fellow recruitees of nhow in a relaxed atmosphere. Now it's up to the team to select and hire the best and to get them ready for the opening of nhow Rotterdam on January 10th 2014.
