Minor Hotels introduces Tivoli President Milano Expanding its Luxury Presence in Italy

Madrid, 28th April 2026: Minor Hotels, international hotel owner, operator and investor with a portfolio of more than 640 hotels and resorts in 63 countries, announces the official debut of Tivoli President Milano, the new five-star property of Tivoli Hotels & Resorts in Italy.

Founded in 1933 in Lisbon, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is a luxury hospitality brand renowned for timeless elegance, iconic addresses and warm, destination-led service. Following a complete renovation, the former NH Collection Milano President has been reimagined as Tivoli President Milano. The hotel now welcomes guests with a renewed identity and an elevated standard of comfort, style and personalised attention—bringing Tivoli’s distinctive luxury experience to the heart of Milan.

Located in Largo Augusto, in the San Babila district and within a five-minute walk of the Duomo, the hotel enjoys a strategic position at the edge of the Quadrilatero della Moda, between Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. Its central location ensures immediate access to Milan’s primary cultural and commercial landmarks, including Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Teatro alla Scala, as well as the city’s leading design and fashion institutions.

Tivoli President Milano offers 239 rooms, including 60 luminous suites — six of which feature direct views of the Duomo. The hotel’s most exclusive accommodation is the new 150 sqm Presidential Suite, complemented by a connecting panoramic rooftop overlooking the Duomo, creating an exceptional setting for exclusive stays and private events.

Designed to elevate wellbeing and relaxation, a new wellness area will soon open in partnership with Starpool, featuring Zerobody Dry Float beds, a complete wet area and a dedicated treatment room. A fully equipped Technogym fitness centre is already open. The hotel’s meeting and events offer has also been renewed, supported by the revitalisation of historic Verziere square and a selection of versatile indoor and outdoor venues — ideal for high-level corporate gatherings and private celebrations in the heart of Milan.

In the coming months, Tivoli President Milano will unveil a new first-floor restaurant overlooking Largo Augusto with captivating views of the Duomo. This new dining destination will further enhance the hotel’s luxury proposition, introducing a contemporary gastronomic concept within a refined, design-led setting.

Extending its appeal beyond resident guests, Tivoli President Milano will present a vibrant programme of experiences open to the public. These include music-accompanied aperitifs held three evenings per week from 6:30 pm at the Lobby Bar, an open buffet breakfast available to external guests, and a curated calendar of social moments designed to animate different times of day and week — positioning the hotel as a sophisticated meeting point for Milan’s urban community.

Originally built between 1961 and 1965, the building was designed by Luigi Figini and Gino Pollini, two leading figures of 20th-century Italian rationalist architecture. Their bold, monumental work reflects the essence of Italian Brutalism.

Under the direction of renowned interior designer Rodrigo Izquierdo, the property now unveils a brand-new look and feel. With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, retail and residential design, Rodrigo has led large-scale projects for elite international brands, first through Studio Patricia Urquiola and later via his own Milan-based design studio.

Gonzalo Aguilar, CEO Minor Hotels Europe & America, parent company of Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, commented: “Milan is one of Europe’s most influential luxury destinations, and Tivoli President Milano is a key milestone in the growth of the brand. Having a five-star Tivoli in the heart of the city strengthens our luxury portfolio and allows us to offer guests an exceptional experience defined by elegant design, outstanding service and an unrivalled location near the Duomo.”

Tivoli President Milano is Tivoli’s third property in Italy, following the openings of Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa in 2023, Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi in Florence in 2024, and the newly announced Tivoli Palazzo 1880 Lecce, set to open in April 2026.
