Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam Makes the It List: Travel + Leisure’s 100 Best New Hotels of the Year
Amsterdam, 30th April 2023: Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, a celebrated hotel that opened under the Anantara flag in 2022 following the renovation and rebranding of a historic grande dame, has been named #34 of 100 hotels of this year’s winners in Travel + Leisure's ‘It List’ of best new hotels of 2023.
The closely-watched list spotlights the hotels and resorts that have made the biggest impression on the travel magazine’s editors and contributors in the past year. After evaluating hundreds of new and renovated properties across the globe, they narrowed the long list down to just 100 in total, with each hotel vetted by Travel + Leisure and recognised as a standout in the field.
Occupying a commanding position opposite the Royal Palace, Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam has been hosting royal celebrations and world conventions, and welcoming distinguished travellers to the Dutch capital for over 150 years. Today, guests can enjoy picturesque dining at the Grand Café Krasnapolsky and Michelin-starred restaurant The White Room, host regal events in the Wintergarden and private celebrations in the Summergarden, or hide away in the award-winning Anantara Spa with relaxing treatments. The hotel also offers exclusive off-site experiences, including white-tablecloth dining in the middle of a tulip field, surrounded by thousands of colourful flowers cultivated on a fourth-generation family farm.
Being recognised by the Travel + Leisure team within the first year of re-opening is a great honour. As one of Europe’s largest five-star hotels, it has always been our number one priority to elevate service standards so that even if the hotel is at full capacity, each guest gets personalised attention. The award is a testament to the team’s dedication to service excellence.Arne Heuwekemeijer, General Manager of Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam.
