Anantara Hotels & Resorts Wins Two Major Honours at 2024 ULTRAs Awards at Kensington Palace in London
Voted by the 28 million members of the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme, Anantara Hotels & Resorts and The Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara both received prestigious awards.
Anantara Hotels & Resorts, part of the Minor Hotels group, and The Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara have been honoured at the 18th edition of the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards (ULTRAs) in London on 7th November 2024. Anantara was named Best Hotel Brand of the Last 20 Years, while The Royal Livingstone received the title of Best Hotel in Africa and Indian Ocean.
Anantara Hotels & Resorts, the luxury hospitality brand for modern travellers, received two accolades at the elegant 18th edition of the Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards (ULTRAs), voted for by the 28 million members of the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme. The awards ceremony took place at The State Apartments and The Orangery, Kensington Palace.
Recognising the finest in global travel, the ULTRAs (Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards) is an eagerly anticipated annual event for the luxury travel industry. Organised by Nick Perry, Chairman of multi-media brand Ultratravel, the event is held in partnership with Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands and operator of award-winning loyalty programme GHA DISCOVERY, through their long-standing joint venture, Ultratravel Collection.

The awards reflected a growing global appreciation for excellence across a wide range of luxury travel experiences.
The awards were presented by well-known UK TV presenters Natalie Pinkham and Gethin Jones, with a host of celebrities in attendance, including HRH Princess Eugenie, Dame Kelly Holmes, the Double Olympic Champion, Charlotte Hawkins, one of the anchors on Good Morning Britain and Australian and British author Kathy Lette.
