From New York to Nairobi, accolades showcase the group’s growing influence in global luxury and experiential travel
Minor Hotels, a leading global hotel owner and operator, has been recognised with 46 accolades in the 2025 Condé Nast Traveler US and UK Readers’ Choice Awards. The results mark the group’s strongest performance in the awards to date, underscoring its accelerating international profile.
Considered one of travel’s most prestigious honours, the awards are determined by readers of Condé Nast Traveler’s US and UK editions. This year, the US edition recognised 25 Minor Hotels properties and the UK edition 21 more, affirming the group’s growing profile across influential travel markets.
Anantara Hotels & Resorts, the flagship luxury brand of Minor Hotels, earned 33 accolades spanning Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Avani Hotels & Resorts and NH Collection were also celebrated, with FCC Angkor by Avani and NH Collection New York Madison Avenue both newly recognised this year. Meanwhile the Elewana Collection impressed across both editions, securing nine wins for its boutique African safari lodges and coastal retreats.
In Europe, the publication’s US edition ranked Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel, a neoclassical landmark on Vienna’s Ringstrasse, No. 3 in the Central & Southern Europe category, while the UK edition recognised Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel at No. 3 in South of France & Monaco. In Asia, UK readers placed Northern Thailand’s Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort, a luxury jungle retreat with an acclaimed elephant conservation programme, and Anantara Chiang Mai Resort among Thailand’s top resorts along with Anantara Quy Nhon Villas in Central Vietnam as one of the best ranked resorts throughout Asia.
In Africa, US readers named Elewana Elsa’s Kopje Meru, set against the dramatic hills of Kenya’s Meru National Park, the No. 3 property in Central & Eastern Africa. And in the Middle East, properties including Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort and Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara were ranked among the region’s finest, reflecting the brand’s strong position in this key market.
“As Minor Hotels continues to expand on a truly global scale, this recognition from Condé Nast Traveler readers underscores the strength of our brands worldwide,” said Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International, the parent company of Minor Hotels. “What makes these awards especially meaningful is that they come directly from travellers, affirming both the passion of our teams and the distinctive experiences that set our hotels apart.”
