Minor Hotels Celebrates Appointment of Estelle Vassallo as General Manager of Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel
Global hospitality group Minor Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Estelle Vassallo as General Manager at Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel. With two decades of expertise in the hospitality industry, Estelle brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic vision to this unique property, situated eighty metres above the stunning town of Amalfi.
Estelle's journey in the hospitality sector has been one of continuous growth and accomplishment. Her most recent role as Hotel Manager at sister property Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam served as a testament to her leadership skills and dedication to quality. Prior to this, Estelle held senior operational and commercial positions in Spain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and France, where she honed her craft at renowned hotel brands such as Hilton, Deutsche Hospitality, and within the Minor Hotels portfolio at NH Collection in New York and Barcelona.
During her tenure at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Estelle played a pivotal role in facilitating the brand transition from NH Collection to Anantara, showcasing her adaptability and strategic acumen. Notably, she spearheaded the establishment of a Green Team and championed sustainable initiatives, which will also be implemented at Anantara Convento di Amalfi, underscoring her commitment to environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility.
Estelle will place particular emphasis on Team Member engagement and development, fostering a culture of appreciation and professional development, providing opportunities for advancement, and ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment to guarantee the hotel is recognised as a preferred place of employment.
Fluent in five languages and holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland, Estelle embodies a global perspective and a profound understanding of the intricacies of the hospitality landscape.
