Minor Hotels, a leading global hospitality group that operates nine resorts in the Maldives, is announcing that three of its resorts were honoured by the Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) Awards 2025. The annual TTM Awards celebrates outstanding achievements across 28 categories, with winners selected by votes from guests and travel partners.
Niyama Private Islands Maldives earned the title of Best Family Resort, reflecting its dedication to creating spectacular experiences for guests of all ages with its unique blend of luxury and playfulness. Niyama is home to the Maldives’ most exciting kids’ club, with facilities including a playground, splash park, and gourmet kitchen, complementing an action-packed activities schedule. Young VIPs are entertained and inspired throughout their stay with tailored, age-appropriate activities, such as snorkelling safaris, cooking classes, surf lessons, and movie nights under the stars.
Niyama offers its guests a wide array of spacious villas and pavilions, including the newly renovated Deluxe Family Beach Pool Villa. Niyama’s commitment to personalised service, diverse dining options, and a wealth of recreational activities ensures every family member can let loose in the world’s most luxurious playground, whether they are seeking adventure or relaxation.
Avani+ Fares was named Best Beach Resort, recognising its pristine white sands, turquoise lagoons, and lush coconut groves on the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The resort offers a selection of contemporary villas, including Beach Pool Villas and spacious Two-Bedroom Beach Pool Villas, which provide direct access to the shoreline and embody the relaxed, barefoot lifestyle.
Since its opening in 2023, Avani+ Fares has introduced a fresh, laid-back approach to Maldivian escapes, blending natural beauty with modern design and thoughtful amenities. Resort guests can enjoy a wealth of experiences that celebrate its unparalleled location, from water sports and wellness to vibrant dining and cultural activities.
NH Collection Maldives Havodda secured the title of Best Dive Resort, thanks to its exceptional house reef and rich marine biodiversity. Located just off the island’s shores, the house reef is renowned as one of the best in the Maldives, offering easy access for snorkellers and divers of all levels. Guests regularly encounter blacktip reef sharks, hawksbill and green turtles, rays, and vibrant schools of fish, making every dive an extraordinary experience.
Beyond the house reef, the resort provides convenient access to the rich dive sites of Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, where divers can explore channels, thilas, and dramatic reef walls teeming with marine life guided by the resort’s PADI-certified instructors.
In addition to the three wins, the TTM Awards 2025 shortlisted Minor Hotels’ properties in seven of the award’s 28 categories. Joining Avani+ Fares, Niyama, and NH Collection Havodda was Minor Hotels’ latest addition to its Maldivian portfolio, NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort, scoring three finalist nods.
