Minor Hotels Earns 22 MICHELIN Keys in 2026 as Recognised Portfolio Grows to 18 Properties

Nine new additions across five regions, including two debuts at Two Keys, extend recognition to 13 countries

Minor Hotels is proud to announce that 18 of its properties across 13 countries have earned 22 MICHELIN Keys in the 2026 selection. The group saw an increase of nine Keys from 2025, and the recognition spans three Minor Hotels brands: Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Avani Hotels & Resorts and Tivoli Hotels & Resorts.

Unveiled on 18 September, the selection places four Minor Hotels properties at Two Keys, signifying ‘an exceptional stay’, and 14 at One Key, indicating ‘a very special stay’. Nine of the 18 earned their first Key distinctions in 2026, including two that debut at Two Keys, while nine retained their Keys since 2025 and 2024.

New MICHELIN Key Distinctions for Minor Hotels in 2026

In Asia, Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur Hotel, the first Anantara property in India, earns its first Key. Set on the outskirts of Jaipur, the hotel draws on Rajasthani craftsmanship and royal architecture, offering its guests a serene escape while keeping the city’s cultural landmarks within easy reach.

Two new additions in the Middle East each earn One Key. Anantara Mina Ras Al Khaimah Resort sits on a private peninsula and offers the emirate's first overwater villas. Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort places 30 pool villas within the protected wildlife reserve of Sir Bani Yas Island where gazelles and Arabian oryx roam freely across the landscape.

Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel earns Two Keys and is one of two properties recognised in Zimbabwe. The first Anantara property to earn MICHELIN Keys in Africa, the 16-suite retreat lies within the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve and allows guests to see endangered black rhino, zebras and other species on game drives or visit Victoria Falls just 15 minutes’ drive away. In the Indian Ocean, Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas earns One Key. The Bill Bensley-designed villas offer ocean and lush garden views set on the hillside above Anse Louis on Mahé.

Minor Hotels’ European portfolio saw three properties earn Keys. Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel debuts at Two Keys. The Neo-Renaissance palace on the Ringstrasse in the Austrian capital is also home to EDVARD, a one MICHELIN Star restaurant. Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel earns One Key in 2026. The 19th-century palazzo fronts Piazza della Repubblica, and its restaurant, INEO, holds one MICHELIN Star. Finally, Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel earns One Key. The hotel occupies the restored cellars of Kopke, the world's oldest Port wine house, across the Douro River from Porto.

Tivoli São Paulo Mofarrej Hotel becomes the first Minor Hotels property in the Americas to earn a Key, with One Key. The 23-storey tower rises above Avenida Paulista in the city’s Jardins district.

Nine Properties Retain Their Keys

Nine Minor Hotels properties retained their Keys in 2026, bringing the group's MICHELIN-recognised portfolio to 18 properties. Five properties earned their Keys in 2025 and are recognised for a second consecutive year: Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam Hotel (Two Keys), Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas and FCC Angkor by Avani. Four resorts have held MICHELIN Keys since 2024 and are recognised for a third consecutive year: Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort (Two Keys), Anantara Hua Hin Resort, Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort and Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort.
