Taking place at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel from 24-29 September, the 24th World Gourmet Festival is once again bringing the culinary crème de la crème under one tastefully appointed roof. This year, festival-goers will bask in the light of 30 Michelin stars – a record for the festival. As 22 globally acclaimed, Michelin-starred chefs converge in Bangkok, they will be joined by a team of virtuoso bartenders – many of them winners of Asia’s and the World’s 50 Best Bars awards – who will be putting on a show of their own at Aqua Bar every night.

2. Diversity of Talent and Flavours

For the first time, the World Gourmet Festival will feature an event on Loy Pela Voyages, Anantara’s signature dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Taking the helm in the kitchen is Portuguese maestro Louis Anjos, the Michelin-starred chef of Al Sud restaurant in Palmares, who will be matching his bold creations to the striking views of Bangkok’s illuminated riverside attractions, including the famous Wat Arun.

As in previous years, a portion of each dinner ticket sold, along with proceeds from the gala auction, will be donated to The Foundation for the Welfare of Rajavithi Girls’ Home Under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, helping to empower and uplift young lives.
